This policy explains what information Arthur & Gable collects when you use arthurandgable.com or place an order, and how it's used, stored and shared.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly:

• Order details — name, phone number, delivery address and pin code, and the items you've added to your slip, when you send an order on WhatsApp or pay online. We may use your phone number to reach you about your order, or to let you know about offers — you can opt out of the latter any time by telling us on WhatsApp or email.
• Payment information — when you pay online, Razorpay collects your card, UPI or bank details directly. We never receive or store this — only the payment status and Razorpay's transaction IDs.
• Location or pin code — if you use the "Check My Address" delivery checker, we look up how far your location or pin code is from our store. Your exact location isn't stored — only used at that moment to calculate distance.
• Cart contents — the items on your order slip are saved in your browser's local storage so they're there if you come back, until you clear your browser data or complete the order. This never leaves your device except when you choose to send it via WhatsApp or submit it for payment.

2. How we use it

Order and delivery information is used only to fulfil your order — confirming stock, arranging delivery, processing payment, and handling exchanges or refunds. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• Razorpay — processes online payments and receives what's needed to do so (your payment details, and the order amount). See Razorpay's own privacy policy.
• Supabase — stores order records (items, total, delivery details, payment status) on our behalf, on servers we control access to.
• WhatsApp — if you send your order via WhatsApp, that message is sent through your own WhatsApp account to ours, subject to WhatsApp/Meta's own privacy terms.
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — if you check delivery by pin code, that pin code is sent to OpenStreetMap's public lookup service to find its approximate location.

We don't share your information with anyone else, except where required by law.

4. Data retention

Order records are kept for as long as needed for order fulfilment, accounting, and handling any returns or disputes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 6), subject to what we're legally required to retain for tax and accounting purposes.

5. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Online payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant — we never see your card or bank details. Order data in our database is only accessible with a private key we control, not exposed to the public internet.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing arthurandgable@gmail.com. We'll respond as quickly as we can.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our processes change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
